Attention in the Heart: a Cycle of Consent

by | Consent Cycles, Eye of the Heart

Heart prayers as consent

Orientation

The mind buzzes.
The heart holds steady.

I drop my attention.
Into stillness, into root.

From here, seeing deepens.

Morning Alignment

I drop my attention lower.
I settle into the heart.

I invite the mind into poverty.

I stay collected,
in my center of gravity.

Attention is the vehicle.

Evening Release

What pulled me outward today,
what scattered attention,
I release.

I release the day into the Good.
The heart holds me, free from cares.

I rest here.
