🕯 Evening Blessing and Benediction: The Cloak and the Flame

May you come to see the cloak you wear —
not with shame, but with the clarity of love.

May the weight that once named you
be revealed as the garment of forgetting,
and may your soul no longer mistake its voice for your own.

May the quiet flame within —
faint, but faithful — rise in you like dawn.
May it guide your hands to pull free
from every thread that binds you to what you are not.

And when the cloak resists,
as it always does,
may you stand firm on the desert’s edge,
bearing the trembling with grace.

May you hear the deeper whisper:
You are not the hunger.
You are not the mask.
You are not the grief, nor the lie.

You are the one who sees.
You are the one who steps forward.
You are the one who dares to turn toward the Light.

So may you walk — lighter, uncertain, but true —
toward that path not made by hands,
with the flame in your chest your only map,
and the eye of your heart opened wide.

Amen
