A portrait of Yeshua from his own words

It is Yeshua, the Anointed One, who has seduced and beguiled us all, and yet he has never coerced or oppressed anyone, and because of this the Blessed Ones become fully realized human beings… he gives rest to those who reside among the Good.
Gospel of Philip, Analogue 63-64, W Bauman

 Yeshua says…
Come to me
for justice is my yoke,
and gentleness my rule,
and you will discover the state of rest.
Logion 90

Yeshua did not reveal himself as he is in reality, but according to the capacity of those who wanted to see Him. He is the Unique for all, yet to the great he appeared great, to the small he appeared small, to the angels as an angel, to human beings as a man.
Gospel of Philip, saying 26, LeLoup

 Yeshua says…
What your own eyes cannot see,
your human ears do not hear,
your physical hands cannot touch,
and what is inconceivable to the human mind—
that I will give to you!
Logion 17

“On the banks of the Jordan, Yeshua manifested the Presence of a realm that existed before all things.”
Gospel of Philip, saying 81, LeLoup

From a place of profound understanding the Master said: “Some have attained the Realm of Heaven laughing.” These came forth from out of this world rejoicing, for they went down into the water as anointed ones and rose out of it again as masters over all… Recognizing the world’s order for what it is, a game being played, they rejected it, and emerged out of it laughing.
Gospel of Philip, Analogue Fifty-Six, W Bauman

 Yeshua says…
Come to know the One in the presence before you,
and everything hidden from you will be revealed.
For there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed,
and nothing buried that will not be raised.
Logion 5

Beguiling Yeshua

In the hour of his desire

He was already standing in your presence—

before your presence was.

Archetype, mystery, and Father.

Logos born of silence.

Breath that kindles and quenches both.

He seduces and beguiles.

Never coerces.

Sowing fire

and tending it carefully

until it blazes.

Bringing order and beauty,

burdening no one.

No sorrow in his wake.

His gift: what no eye has seen.

The lower like the higher,

the outer as the inner.

They came out of it laughing.

His rule, gentleness.

Without fear.

William Britten
