Origin of God and origin of consciousness: God desired to be known and to be reflected by manifestation.

“The Good has come among you pursuing its own essence within nature in order to reunite everything to its Origin.” Gospel of Mary Magdalene

“Our role, as most of the great teachings have talked about, is to perceive the divine mercy, the divine qualities, as they wish to come into form and enact them. In other words, things like generosity, peace, truth, forbearance, love. And to the extent then that we are biaxial listeners, or if you like to use automobile metaphors, we’re sort of the cross-link, we’re kind of the transmission, where we listen, we listen, we receive the power, the energy, the incantation, the potential of the divine realm, and then we enact them upon the horizontal wall. So that things like grace, truth, peace, can be made manifest, can be enfleshed on this planet. And so that the world can flow with generosity. And when we perform this function, everything seems to go along swimmingly. The world is a happier place and we’re happier people. When we lose track of that, then we get feeling crazy. Cut off from our roots. Unable to understand our purpose. Feeling like there has to be something more, but not knowing what it is.” Cynthia Bourgeault, Mary Magdalene and the Path of Conscious Love, 10:43 disc 2 track 5.

“Consciousness is the vehicle through which Origin makes itself manifest. There’s a sharp distinction between Origin, the unmanifest impulse, the unknowable, the unaccessible light. Consciousness is the relational field, the vehicle, the vessel, the crucible in which origin becomes  manifest. You’ll have an easier time if you work with it that way.” Cynthia Bourgeault, Integral Light Dec 2020, 01:03:07 2.1 Diaphaneity

“A wonderful quote from the extra Quranic sayings. I’ve quoted it many times before: God said, I was a hidden treasure, and I loved to be known, so I created the worlds visible and invisible. And Boehme talks about this. But if at the heart of everything, if at the heart of originary being, the Chiastic epicenter of everything, is the yearning of divine presence, of divine knowing, to be known, to be seen, to be reflected, which is what consciousness means.” Cynthia Bourgeault, Stonington June 2021, 34:00 03 – Monday Morning Gebser Teaching.

“The great mystics from Jacob Boehme to C.G. Jung to Gebser to Thomas Keating are all sensing the same thing and naming it in their own way. And it’s a very, very powerful naming. Jacob Boehme, back in the 17th century, called it the scientia, the science, the hidden most knowledge at the heart of the infinite. But there is something in the abyss of the divine unmanifest that pushes it towards form. And when you ask the question, why? These great mystics tend to hover around the same answer, which is a variation on the theme that so the divine omniscience, so that originary presence, as Gebser calls it, can become conscious.”  Cynthia Bourgeault, Integral Light Dec 2021, 45:00 0.1 Overview

“We in the Work use the word freedom in connection with an idea of great density of meaning which has the Ray of Creation behind it. It is C influences—descending from Greater Mind—from above our level. The word freedom has escaped from the control of the real, esoteric ideas behind it and has, so to speak, lost its origin, its parentage, and wanders about in the world as a common danger.“ Maurice Nicoll, Commentaries, p1155

Logion 15
Yeshua says...
When the time comes
and you are able to look upon the Unborn One,
fall prostrate in worship,
for you have found your own true Father,
(your Source and Origin at last).
